Proven Transition Management Methodologies
The client is a public gas transporter in UK, who owns, operates and develops a substantial portion of the gas transportation system and all of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage facilities in Great Britain. The challenge lay in finding a method where the client could bring down support cost and reduce the time required to address a problem. After studying the situation, Velosys formed a team that would take complete responsibility for the support provided to all the development environments and provide a single point of contact for all the requirements.
Velosys managed the transition from the various existing teams to the Velosys team with its proven transition management methodologies. Velosys had formed a Knowledge Collection Phase (KCP) team to acquire knowledge on various products and their application. The Offshore Development team piloted and implemented the services.
